Vacsup Spray & Drop

Good and fast application of Coarse Spray and Distribution of Drops for the digestive tract in one smooth operation.  The Vacsup Spray and Drop is simple, good and easy to use.  In few seconds you can apply a respiratory vaccine in form of Coarse Spray on boxes of day old chicks, as well as drops of liquid for the digestive tract such as food, probiotics or Coccidiosis vaccine for instance. Also single applications are possible of course. For the spray we use 4 nozzles and spray on the chicks once the crate is inside. Droplet sizes can be chosen from 150 up to 270 microns. While moving out of the machine in a controlled speed, the drops are distributed in a precise and regular way.  For both operations separate liquid circuits are used with individual adjusted pressure and dosing.  The table-stand equipment is easy to set up and to use and can handle approximately 300 boxes per hour.

A large touch screen interface helps personnel to select the desired operations, shows the quantity of crates done and allows manual activation of roller system, and dosing pistons. Large manometers show precise pressure used on each piston and pressure can be adjusted from 1-4 bars for each piston.

Crates with a maximum width of 50 cm can be placed at the machine entrance. A motorised roller system brings the crate inside. The coarse spray, if selected, is applied. The rollers bring out the crate again with a regular movement and at controlled speed. During this movement we can apply the drops in a line on the crate. One person can do the complete operation.

Liquid tanks are not under pressure and pistons pull the liquid into the dosing cylinders. The dose can be adjusted precisely on each side up to 26 ml. In general 15 ml is used for the coarse spray and 26 ml for the droplet production.  Vacsup uses a unique design of high precision cannulas producing large drops. Should a canula get blocked it can easily be removed in a few seconds and replace by a clean one.

A large droplet production is used for products that need an uptake by the chicks for the digestive tract. This can be done for food, probiotics or Coccidiosis Vaccine for instance.  To give the drops a longer lifetime in general additives are used to increase the viscosity.

Adding natural colorants make the drops even more attractive for the young chicks. The colorant also helps to check the quality of product uptake looking at the chicks’ beaks after the application and directly indicates proper ingestion of the drops by the chicks.
